This family photo was taken in-home with a travel studio light kit. I remember setting up the props and watching this baby girl look on with curiosity at her new cake. She was unamused. In fact, she preferred her Gerber puffs over the beautiful cake that her parents bought her. Somehow, this moment, in spite of the tantrums and lack of interest in her cake, was still beautiful because it was the moment.
